To have the freedom to leave,

to adventure to far away lands,

to spread my wings and fly,

is something I think of.

"In a sea of human beings, it is difficult, at times

even impossible, to see the humans as beings."

 - Aysha Taryam

So many incredible heritage buildings to photograph.

This one in particular is located in downtown Victoria, B.C.

The faded advertising from years gone really makes this a special building.

"Cities have always offered anonymity, variety, and conjunction,

qualities best basked in by walking: one does not have to go into

the bakery or the fortune teller's, only to know that one might.

A city always contains more than one inhabitant can know,

and a great city always makes the unknown and the

possible spurs to the imagination."

- Rebecca Solnit, Wanderlust: A History of Walking
