I had created a few pieces in regards to environmental issues for a show that is currently at Cowichan Valley Arts Council Gallery in Duncan, B.C.

This piece was made from a few photographs; one of a view of the West End in Vancouver, one of bare trees from here in the Cowichan Valley and one of the sun behind clouds. I removed all the color from the photographs and layered them and then hand painted in the color. I used Photoshop and Painter Essentials 6.  I must admit that I enjoy the creation process so much. I really never know how a particular piece will turn out and that is the exciting part.
